The Palacz family has been serving families for a fifth generation now, over 100 years of distinguished service. It all started with my great-great uncle and then was passed to my great-grandfather, Francis. The first  two generations moved throughout Chicago. Then, my grandfather, C.J. (best known to families), continued to carry on the family legacy in the 26th Street neighborhood, now near the Cook County Jail. Throughout the decades of serving that community as well as others, my father, Dave, decided to add to the Palacz legacy. He then moved our family into the suburbs and extended our reach to families in need. Several years ago, he passed away suddenly. Now, I continue the historic legacy in funeral industry as I strive to comfort families and deliver the highest level of funeral services.

       My name is Michael David Palacz. I am a licensed funeral director, embalmer, and crematory operator in the state of Illinois. I graduated from Illinois State University with a double major in Financial Accounting and Organizational Leadership in 2010. Later that fall, I attended and graduated from the historic Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 2012. During my apprenticeship, I studied and received my MBA from Concordia University while working full-time for the family business. A mantra we live by, "Family serving family."

       The funeral business has been family owned and operated for over a century. I am here to assist you and your family when a loved one passes away. As a family owned business, I take personal pride in a generational tradition. From the moment you contact me, my caring and dedicated approach will make all decisions regarding funeral arranging and cremation services much easier. The relationships that I have built with other facilities allow me to work throughout the Chicago-land area. 

       Since  the late 1800s, the Palacz family has passed the test of time as generation after generation continue to care for families and their loved ones. I pride myself in offering the highest level of professionalism, honesty and compassion for 5 generations now and hopefully counting.
